Break a Sweat: Bodyweight Circuits

Bodyweight exercises, high intensity interval training, and circuits are the hottest trend right now. And I am not going to lie, I am a total convert. It is so easy to just show up to the gym and do you circuits in a little corner by yourself with barely any equipment. You  just have to KEEP MOVING!

Here are a few bodyweight circuits that will leave you dripping sweat, hating it and loving it all at the same time.

10 —> 1 reps

So start with 10 reps of each exercise, once you complete the circuit once go to 9 reps of each exercise, then 8, and so on until you complete 1 rep of each exercise.


Laydown Push-ups


Alternating Lunge Jumps (each leg)

Shoulder Taps (each arm)

Squat-Pushup Burnout

30 seconds of each exercise

Squat, squat jumps, push-ups, power push-ups


Pulsing squat, squat hold, pulsing push-up, push- hold


Repeat one more time through

Total Body BW Circuit

50 mountain climbers Climb

40 alternating lunge jumps

30 plank jacks

20 jumps (jumping jacks, star jumps, tuck jumps)

10 pike to plank pushups

5 burpees

Go through circuit two full times

Core Blast

1 minute plank hold

50 russian twist

40 side crunches (20 each side)

30 flutter kicks

20 double crunch

10 v-ups

1 minute plank hold

And you’re done!!!! You are probably running on a ton of endorphins right now so go and eat a good meal, get lots of water, and stretch stretch stretch.
